That was quite quality.

So the refs were calling all these touch fouls earlier, and now nothing is a penalty, eh?

Landon Wilson. You continue to change my opinion about you from spare to marginally talented, but definitely NHL player. Mike Ribeiro remains quite awesome.

You know, it's okay to root for players from your own home country. It's okay to be patriotic. I realize it seems to be a poisoned pill amongst some circles these days, it's far easier to hate the U.S., but why exactly do you think those on the other side of the 49th are rooting for Team Canada? Or others for Finland?

They're not a line.

Sutherby-Richards-Eriksson
Neal-Modano-Lehtinen
Ott-Ribeiro-Parrish
Barch-Petersen-Wilson

I think their shifts overlapped.

They're out-thinking the Devils all over the ice right now, and working really hard without the puck to get open for passes. PP coming up. Please don't let it kill the momentum...

Robidas and Modano are on the point.

Count on it killing the momentum.

Hey a Mark Parrish sighting. Isn't that some sort of sign of the apocalypse?

Haha, Parise tries to challenge Ott after Ott runs Zubrus and gets knocked on his back.

I love the monster hit by Ott and then that clown Parise trying to punk him and ending up straight on his ass.

Dallas is bossing the Devils right now, keep it up boys! get another one here!

Not because I'm patriotic, but because 90% of Americans could care less where as 90% of Canadians would be disappointed. More than anything though, I’d like to see Canada not even medal as long as Benn can keep scoring.

I enjoy other people’s misery .... it's a condition.
Sorry bud 5-4 Canada

Ribs against these Eastern teams is twice as fun as usual. They really have no clue how to handle him. Another PP for the Stars.

It's not over yet, but it's been a very good third period.

Note: that was written before the EN goal by Tavares, and man is that kid a good prospect.

Benn was mostly silent and unnoticeable. He did look awkward while coughing up the puck on a Canada PP though.

I think Ott is aggravating opponents more right now that he physically can't fight.
