Zomg, we should've never traded Huet. He's so good in pressure situations, he's a veteran and he's strong on shots from the point. Plus I love how much he moves during shootouts. His fivehole is also very strong. What a mistake.

WTK comin' atcha, worst sarcasm user of 2008.

Huet was left out to dry, the Hawks have played like ass since the 1st period.

The ice is much better than last years winter classic where the puck barely moved because of all the snow.

The Red Wings are quite the team once they get rolling. Totally took over this game from the second period on.

Yep!

I think the Bulls v Pistons analogy was very accurate also. If Hawks want to be Champions we have to find a way to beat the Red Wings. We played them well last year but struggled overall. This year we are playing everyone but Detroit well.

Hawks need to figure something out!

We have the talent to hang with them but once the Wings get going we cant stop them.

Man, those outside games are not what they used to. The novelty has worn off; they should shelve the thing for a couple of seasons.

While I really enjoyed the game on a hockey perspective and I found it pretty cool that it was in such a huge venue, I kind of agree with you there. The NHL should try to find a way to not use this concept to much because it will get bland pretty fast.
