And, you wanna see my big deadline deal?:

3 teams Minnesota, Altanta and Philly

To Philly:
Ilya Kovalchuk
Josh Harding
Minn 4th Rounder
Grant Lewis
Clayton Stoner

To Minnesota:
Mike Knuble
Antero Niittymaki
Atl 3rd Rounder
Scott Lehman

To Atlanta:
Marion Gaborik
Philly 1st Rounder
Marc-Andre Bergeron
Jussi Jokinen

Of course there are no 3 team trades, i did a series of small ones that added up to that.

Then another deal presented by the Computer:
To Philly
Ed Jovanovski

To Phoenix
Randy Jones
Aaron Asham
Derian Hatcher

That was a DONE DEAL.

I also claimed Matt Bradley from Washington off waivers to take Ashams spot on the 4th line

a few days later i got an offer from minnesota : Pierre Marc Bouchard, Niclas Backstrom for Danny Briere and Josh Harding. I passed, because Briere is playing like an animal for me.

My Lines:
#12 Simon Gagne #18 Mike Richards #71 Ilya Kovalchuk
#19 Scott Hartnell #17 Jeff Carter #15 Joffrey Lupul
#9 Scottie Upshall #48 Danny Breire #28 Claude Giroux
#32 Riley Cote #13 Glen Metropolit #20 Matt Bradley

#44 Kimmo Timonen #5 Braydon Coburn
#25 Matt Carle #23 Ossi Vaananen
#77 Ryan Parent #55 Ed Jovanovski (This pair has been BEASTLY on my PK)

#43 Marty Biron
#29 Josh Harding

Looking for a cup as you can see, and somehow this all fits under the cap.

well 1st i forgot to mention Coburn is injured, so it works now, lol.Thats kinda important.

Alberts is in.

The salaries in that game are off too.

The Gags-Richie-Kovy line is SICK

EDIT:
Forsberg signed with Detroit, Shanny in NJ, and Sundin with Ottawa

my 3rd line isnt too shabby either. lol.

I swear if anyone out there wants to try this, for some reason Ryan Parent paired with Ed Jovanovski is a real knockout Combo. Looks like Vaananen is leaving at the end of the year in favor of Ed.

Sometimes I like to do a Dynasty and just sim that ****, and start makin all sorts of moves. With the latest update, the Flyers when to the finals (with Lupul leading the league in scoring with like 112?..,Crazy), with me only doing line changes, which was sweet. Then after the first year, and with the increased progression ratings my first line was like:

Gagne (91) - Richards (90) - Gaborik (93)

I would play a few games with it, and it was crazy.

I turn off injuries and the cap, but then I cut Hatcher and all the other players who aren't actually on the team. Sure enough, trading for players SUCKS when you have no Hatcher, he always gets a big return when paired up with someone.

In my latest dynasty, I think I traded Knuble, a 1st and something else for Patty O'Sullivan (new number 10 or 21, I forget) and then I signed Shanahan. I'll be damned if I use Cote. I either created Giroux or called him up, low 70's I think.

Gagne-Richards-Briere
Hartnell-Carter-Lupul
Upshall-O'Sullivan-Shanahan
Asham-Metro-Giroux

Coburn-Timonen
Vaananen-Carle
Jones-Parent

Biron
Nitty

It gets the job done. I love the top line, Richie is about 3rd in the league in points, he gets a ton of assists. I find that in this game and every game since 07, I have to try REALLY hard to get Gagne involved and he never seems to lead the team in points or anything, however, since I know he is awesome, I purposely feed him the puck a lot and he is doing well, but generally I don't try to get point for an specific player and shoot based on oppurtunity and positioning. If I'm just playing based on positioning, Briere tends to get the puck a lot more then Gagne. Timonen is a point machine, as I like to cycle the puck to the point if I'm in trouble down low, and take shots from the point if I have space. He gets a lot of assists that way, due to rebounds.

I also find Carter and Lupul are putting up serious points, and for some reason, 4th line, for their limited ice time, always seems to chip in.

The Upshall-O'Sully-Shanahan line is streaky. Shanahan is so slow in this game, and that makes him suck, but he scores garbage goals in bunches for some reason. I would trade him, but you literally get nothing in return for Shanny. Makes sense, this game isnt that dumb. For the record though, he has has a 4 goal game where I won 4-3, so IDK, things never go as expected.

Carter leads the NHL with 52 goals at the deadline, Richie and Gags are tied for 2nd in points with 94. And I acquired the #2 goal scorer and #1 point man in Kovy. I role 4 lines pretty well, my 4th line sees some decent ice time. Considering Cote has 6 goals lol. Biron leads in GAA with 2.01 lol.

Ill be pissed if i dont win me a cup, lol.

He is ok, is solid defensively. His line doesn't get much time-
1st line-23 minutes
2ndline- 21 minutes
3rd Line- 6 minutes
4th Line- 10 minutes

Thats how I try to keep it, althopugh the 2nd line has been getting more and more time

I have lost 3 games out of 4 in shootouts. I stink at them

He is currently 2nd in the elague in goals and 4th in points
