right now, Purcell plays on the fourth line, and i really doubt he'll get any higher than O'sullivan, Kopitar, Brown, Frolov, Stoll, Simmonds, Moller in the future. and if we are acquiring Gaborik, Purcell is the odd man out.
Boyle isn't helping this team. He is not using his size to his advantage and obviously isn't the best of skaters on the ice. we've seen him take the body a few times (not many), but he's gotta do much better than that. we have many prospects and there are many players that can fill out a 3rd/4th line role outside of Boyle. even with these two on the table, i'm sure Minnesota will get a better offer during the deadline.
