Habs don't play Saturday. I think you meant Sunday.

He was really good in pre-season and that's why he played so many games. I think the menagement was wise to let him build his confidence in the AHL against professionals.

Meh, I'm not expecting much from the Weber. In fact ,not even from Pacioretty, the key call up is Kyle Chipchura.

I can't vait to see Veber play. Vith him our pp should be vay more affective. That said, ve don't knov yet if he vill be in the lineup or not. For vhatever its vorth, I think ve vill see some magic if he does play.

Of course, all this being said, they'll opt not to play Weber on Friday and we\ll go 0-something on the PP AGAIN!

Mark my words, if they play Weber, he's up for the season.
First off all, it's not certain he'll play.
Second, if he does indeed play, its not certain he'll be good on PP.
Third, we're winning so..doesn't really matter for now.

Weber may not do much same with Pac man but it will be a good experience the same way Maxwell got to see how much quicker and harder the NHL is. Let them get a taste and go back down knowing what they need to improve. Look at D'Agostini, he had one game end of last year and was then past over for Stewart because he played nonchalant, he definitely took his second chance more serious.

Weber was not ready to play in the NHL at the beginning of the season, plus there was no reason to rush him with the vets ahead of him all healthy at the time.

His time in the AHL was well spent. I have watched every game and have seen him progress and recently(last 5-10 games) show some real consistancy and prowess in all 3 zones. This is the perfect time to call him up. Maybe he gets a shot right away maybe not, but i do believe he is ready to take brisebois spot after a couple tryout games at 4th line forward/pp/odd 5 on 5 D shift. He needed to develop in Hamilton. He will be fun to watch on the PP, he has a cannon and a good wrister.

edit: Windsor is producing lots of good posters these days. LOL

also, i think Weber can do a good job till we land a top defenceman at the deadline. Then we are deep for the playoffs.

WTh is wrong with Price? Another Laraque?
Has for tanguay sad sad..

With Both Saku and Tanguay out. Kovalev and cie better play to their full potential.
If that continue like this . Begin/lapieere might become our first line.

Plus the damned Bruins keep winning.Personnaly i think the first position now = impossible.

God damn i hate the Bruins.I watched the penguins vs Bruins and at some point i saw a bruins fan having an orgasm.I hate that.

I bet you Weber plays solid hockey, maybe makes a few mistakes but plays well offensively and we never think twice about OB again.

Good riddance to O'Byrne, a career AHLer

Of course, you can't make anyone happy.

And dude, you are from freaking Windsor, Ontario. Who in the bloody hell in HF land let someone from Windsor, Ontario post here? Madness.

Fellow Windsorite,

Actually, i live in Kingston now. As you know, it's a good mix of Wings, Leafs and Habs fans in Windsor.

I still think we need a better PP to do anything in the playoffs this year.

If he can\t do better than Breezy and Gorges on the point, then we are in trouble!

Okay what do you want to bet?

I believe OB will play 50+ games for the Habs next season.

If OB plays 50+ games as a hab next season and IS successful at it (meaning not a minus player, or even leniance of -5 or better) then I will change my Title to something of your choosing so long as it isn't ban-able.

What are you going to do for me though if he isn't a success?
