With our injuries, that ain't happening. Once Tanguay, Higgins, Koivu, Laraque and Dandy are back (and all of them together won't happen until March!) we'll probably see Weber sent down for the D while the forward ranks will see Chips, Maxpac get the heave ho for sure. That leaves another candidate for the AHL. Lats has turned himself into a respectable 3rd liner while we'd lose most everyone else on waivers by sending them down. It'll come down to Sergei over D'Agostini which will be easy for management unless D'Agostini can regain his scoring pace (since Sergei had the good rookie year and his bro is a big club regular). Hell, in 14 games he has as many goals as Sergei does through over 30!

no one is really doing anything, so kovalev has no choice but to try to make stuff happen

Yeah but the Kovalev hater will say that Kovalev is trying to deke the entire team, that hes selfish etc..

Chipchura is having a good game IMO.

Take the loss and get ready for a Sunday matinee because this just ain't in the cards. New Jersey is another team I fear a first round series with. I think unless we play Pittsburgh or Washington, every first round series scenario I can think of would pose an underdog challenge to the Habs (since we're not going to be a top 3 seed thanks to Boston's dominance) and even with the Caps and Pens we'd not be favoured. Jersey, Philly, hell Carolina. They've all shown they can take us on and win, but it all depends on how their desperation playoff hockey will match up with ours. Finish 4th at best and I'm cool, no matter who we draw.

Brunet is saying "it's not normal the Lapierre line are the best". May I suggest they put Max Pac with Lappy and Lats?

Phew...I was getting worried Kovalev wasn't going to take a penalty this game.

just like a bad breezy pinch is a given, a stupid penalty by Kovalev in the third.

He's sick of playing the Devils. I mean there's zero space.
