I wish we were New Jersey sometimes. Enough offense to capitalize for gaining leads, then the right defense to hold back the barrage. Though we pulled out the comeback last year, it was a rarity for this franchise (them, not us). Habs are good defensively, but to me they seem to not know how to play great defensively while pumping goals through. You need to be an opportunistic bunch, not one that scores 2 goals and says "Well we scored enough to win but didn't do the job in our own zone!" I just hope Carbo can get this team scoring goals when the time comes.

Reminds me of someone in your avatar! That's the problem with this year's Habs. Certain players explode then go cold for a while, and not enough people pick up the slack. We're a good team at 21-9(10?)-6, but there's lots of room for improvement and offense is a major area for repairs. Defenisvely we're not far off the Bruins, but offensively they kill us. A few other teams in this conf. also flex offensive muscles like we did last year (although the B's are on pace for almost 300 goals at this point). This Hab team is looking for an identity. It'll need a lot more poise, toughness and grit in its star players in order to be a true cup contender. Luckily, we're on the right path.

Seems that this is what a hat-trick does to you...Higgins dissapeared after his hat-trick and now AKost....

The Kostitsyns are just that though....really moody.....like Pleks.....like Kovy....

Denis could not have been more in his net....I've rarely seen a goalie so deep....Not entirely his fault though...
