PGT: Lost tonight but good road trip

3 out of 4 with injuries is very good. Not going to win every night and really I thought they pretty okay tonight but the other goalie was better. Price should be back for Sunday and they can get back on track.

Pretty much my train of thought as well. I had almost zero hope for a win coming into tonight considering the opponent, injuries, etc.

Now they need to rebound and beat the Panthers on Sunday.

On a semi-related note, listening to the RDS broadcast crew when this team loses a game is a painful experience.

Well without Price, this team has shown weakness.

I ask you this: Do you think we are a good team WITHOUT Price?

My answer is NO.

Oh and this is with our injuries, without injuries we are talking about a totally different team.

the most healthy team has won...

I hope it will be Price or to a lesser extent Halak Sunday... Denis is REALLY not NHL caliber

Nice show by the young callups

What about playing with half an AHL team?

The Devils definitely deserved this one. We'll see what happens next time when we're at full strength.

Typical game against NJ.
I sure hope we don't play them in the playoffs.

Still a good road trip.

That being said the PP is laughable.
Something has to be done , we get more scoring chances on our PK than our PP.

I wish our point getters played a little more than the 8 minutes they got.

26th in the league on the powerplay and nothing has been done. Someone want to send Gainey or Carbo a ****ing wake up call?

Ok Carbo can break the "top line" up again now. They simply have no chemistry anymore and they ****ing suck out there.

That absolute incapacity to have a decent point shot has got to change. I like Gorges but 1 goal in 2 years ain't gonna cut it on the PP.

PP definitely still a concern. I wouldn't be surprised to see Weber play on Sunday. Will it make a difference? I don't know, but it's worth a try at this point.

Please trade Kovalev

Trade Kovalev, please

He was invisible once again tonight, except for his usual 3rd period penalty.

Without our captain and top center, without our best two way forward, without occasional toughness, without a speedy veteran blueliner and without a veteran playmaker, then add on no superstar goaltender to steal a game?

Yeah, absolutely. We're not a very good team. That's three top 6 forwards, a blueliner, a fighter and one of the best goalies in the NHL.

Watching anything but highlight footage from Rock Em Sock Em videos is painful on RDS.

They harp on about everything. No wonder the suicide rate is so high in Quebec.

I second this motion... he does not care and bring his line down with him...

even with his points, we could make addition by substraction and get more points from his linemates than he would get the rest of the season

Carbo's benching of Pacioretty was unmerited and stupid.

Really ?
Kovy was the best player of his line tonight.
Pleks was invisible and A.Kost was lazy.

He looked good to me tonight. I thought he was one of the few that played well.
