CARBO wake up and have some balls!!

Pout Weber. Pout AK46 + SK74. Pout Pac and D'Ago 2gether!

Tanguay + Koivu = love
Lang + Kovalev = love
AK46 + SK74 = love
Pac + D'Ago = love
Lats + Lapierre = love
Weber + PP = love

is it soo hard?

Thank you.

Clearly the Plekanec/Kostitsyn/Kovalev line hasn't worked (aside from one game) and will not work so I don't get why Carbonneau doesn't break them up already... also even though he didn't get any points Kovalev created a few scoring opportunities and he at least put forth a decent effort.

I've been looking all over the place for my stupid pills. Seems they've been stolen and now I can prove it.

His lazy penalty made me angry.. but he was good aside from the fact he totally forgot how to lift the puck off the ice.

When you have so many injuries .. it is up to the "veterans" to show up and lead by example, to play to the best of their abilities, show the kids how its done. Instead we have:

Last 5 Games:

Robert Lang - 1 goal no assists, -3

Alex Kovalev - 1 goal, 1 assist, + 2

Andrei Markov - 1 assist, even

Roman Harmlik - 1 assist, -1

Komisarek - No Points, -2

Other players who have REALLY disappointed me:

Last 5 games:

Sergei Kostitsyn - No Points, -3

Francis Bouillon - No Points, -4

Where is the veteran leadership on this team when its needed most? On the other hand, Lapierre, Begin, Kostoupoulus, Gorges, Price, Latendresse ... are keeping the team going.

The line doesn't work, just stop putting them together.

Watching AKost and Kovalev go down on a 2-on-2 is one of the most pathetic things I have ever seen from this team. Two highly skilled players and they suddenly look like they've never played hockey before. And it's every single time... there's just no chemistry there, stop trying to force it.

Makes you think Gainey may need to pay a visit to the dressing room.

Interesting...who should the Habs trade Kovalev for?

Maybe the Leafs would trade Grabovski for Kovalev? or maybe the Stars want to deal Ribeiro? Ohh...I know, how about Ryder? I'll bet Boston would part with him.

I'm not a big kovy fan, but this is nonsense. It's one game and he is our leader in points.

Meh, the team didn't play THAT bad. I think Halak lost us the game tonight, the important thing is how we rebound on sunday.

You try and fix the problem, he is a nhl level coach supposedly so if Gainey asks him..."Why does the powerplay suck?" I really hope he has more of an answer than "I play what I got" or maybe he just throws his hands in the air.

You change things up, try other people on the point, you know throw the opposition off it's game. I swear Montreals powerplay has gotten so bad the passes could be read in brail!

Gainey need to make a damn trade but we all know he wont, how many times have players been moved and Gainey is left sitting there with his thumb up his butt saying "I tried to do it but it happened so fast"

Don't put this one on Halak, yes his rebounds control are not perfect and he looked flat today, but the team didn't show up many times when he had starts this year.

At the other end Clemmenson is still frustating teams with his stellar play. I'm sure we will bounce back and beat the Panthers.

Hopefully next game:
Pacioretty - Lang - Kovalev
AKost - Plekanec - D'Agostini
Latendresse - Lapierre - Kostopoulos
Begin - Chipchura - Weber

I look at today as an exhibition game, with a good chunk of our players out with injuries. Sunday with Price back in the mix and no New Year's Hangovers, the Canadiens will do a lot better.
