Hey, Isles fan here. I apologize to the mods here if I shouldn't have made this a thread- I just didn't know where to put it.
Over the past week, our local newspaper here on LI, Newsday, hasn't been too strict on their editing. This morning, for the third time this week, among the NHL point leaders was Carolinater who apparently plays for Philadelphia. If you look at his stats, they match Jeff Carter's stats. So I don't know who's editing this and why they keep letting it through, but I get a good chuckle every time I see it in the paper.
I thought maybe you guys could get a laugh too. If you want me to snap a picture, I could do that.

Not a nickname. Even if you are someone who thinks every player needs some sort of nickname (which they don't) why would you want the word Carolina prominently involved? It's not like Carolina is a rival or something. What's next? Scott Hartfordnell?
