There goes deVires playing lazy letting his man in for an easy score. Geez can we just sit that pylon and let Klein/Koistinen play. I think those two are better defensive players than he is and way better on the offensive side, so what do we lose by sitting him?
My brother and I was watching some highlights of the Bruins/Sabres game. He made the comment that we missed getting Vanek by one pick. I told him the way Trotz miss manages our younger players. The lack of developing the offensive side of them is now showing. That if indeed we drafted Vanek he wouldn't be the goal scorer he is today. Radulov didn't like it here under Trotz because it's so called defense first(), that's why he's in Russia. Everybody talks about how much they think he's a great coach and all. He's a great expansion team coach that gets the best out of players that haven't made it any where at that time in their careers. I believe Legwand struggles are a prime example, that and the fact he's playing on a broken line. Erat doesn't look nothing like the Erat of the past few seasons, so I wonder if he was playing his "a" off for a contract. Arnott looks like he's completely frustrated beyond belief that he's in a dead end organization that won't make moves to help the team(also refering to last season at the trade dead-line when he said he'd like to see some help for their playoff run). They need the organization to step up and do something but they can't, won't, hell we don't even know. Oh well I thought we were going to see this out of last years team after the "gut" but we made the playoffs. The only thing that did is give Trotz another year or so. GOD help us Preds fans, and I'm serious!! I'll shut up now.
Why is Legwand? The guy has hands of stone. Save him for defensive play and killing penalties.
Oh come on. Legwand has 100 times the offensive ability of the majority of our roster. Smithson, Fiddler, Peverly, Ward, Nichol, Tootoo, Bonk should not even come close to sniffing top 6 minutes, but an assortment of the above crap consistently plays on the Predators first and second lines.

agreed. We have more 3rd liners than any team in the league.
