And you dont deserve to be here, shou shou.

Seriously the voting system had nothing to do with players deserving to be there, it has to do with popularity. And by the way the Habs fan deserve it, we are by far the best fans in the NHL and have always backed our team, four of our players is a good reward for being the best.

This is a popularity contest voted by the FANS so you cannot be right with millions of votes cast by millions of fans being wrong.

Those that deserve to be there will be there but the starters are chosen by the fans of the players that are attending.

Your take that Boumeester should be ahead of Komi is stupid. You think Boumeester cares? Let's see where he signs this UFA season and then we'll know if he wants to play in a market that cares or goes for the money.

Yes it did - not to us, but to the rest of the league

It's not a big deal, but the homers around here are pretty short sighted

You know, "clear majority and minority" doesnt constitute anything. It's obviously not even in the same realm but the clear majority of the world used to think slavery was cool, and the ones in the minority were "wrong." again, not in the same realm, but it singlehandedly proves that being in the majority doesn't mean you're right

"you cannot be right with millions of votes cast by millions of fans being wrong." -- yeah considering all the people who said "oh i voted 20,000 times today", clearly "millions" of fans voted

some people are really dense

Exactly, it didn`t happen to US. Therefore, who cares? Let`s keep the complains for when they do happen.

You whiners do realize that there's other freaking players on the all-star teams right? Who the **** cares if the Habs have four in the starting lineup. Ovechkin and Kovalchuk and Green and Lundqvist will all be there to.

The fans should not have ALL the say as to who starts the All-Star game...I have never been a fan of the voting the players on to an all-star team...

A minority in this biased section. Go ask in the open forums where other fans are also posting and see for yourself. Having blinders on doesn't change reality.

Asterix, you are a logical Habs fan. Being a fan, a lot of time we are homer and illogical. The ASG is in Montreal, we want to see as many of our players in the ASG. Once in a while, we should be illogical and fully support our team, our players. I don't care what other people are thinking of us. If you read the mainboard, these people do not have a favorable view of our fanbase for a long time anyway.

2 Pens, 4 Habs
3 Hawks, 3 Ducks

-Sure is a lot of diversity on the first lines.

Amen.
great point. to the guy who said we're in the clear minority -- well, montreal is 1 team and the league is 30 teams. whats the minority, 29 or 1? cause i can assure you the other 29 teams aren't patting themselves on the back for Komisarek starting

Funny that most of the fans of the 29 other teams were too busy voting for their own favourites to decide on a better defenseman than Komisarek to send to the game.

you can thank the team voting for that...which hopefully will be scrapped next season...whoever came up with it should be shot

Funny that most of the fans of the 29 other teams weren't making it their life mission to vote a career 0.15PPG player to a game showcasing (supposedly) the league's best talent

Funny, none of the other 29 league teams are hosting The Game.

The Reasoning Fan could probably care less who starts, but likely will care what the full lineups look like.

But, the vote is great fodder for Hab Haters

Ah well, Go Habs!
