I'm pretty sure it's more shorthanded against.

PP is an embarrassment. How can we he halfway through another season, with different players, and have the PP still suck? Sounds like it is not a player issue.

That's the third or fourth time I've seen a Ranger lose their edge in that corner.

Prucha was overall pretty good. One bad play in which someone stole the puck from behind. Other than that, good **** Petr.

VERY SOLID FIRST PERIOD. The defense looks much more in tune so far

Pretty good period. the Caps will get more opportunities than us so we have to capitalize. It would help if we had a working PP. Thought Redden looked really good that period...........

Not too bad of a period, held our own, had some decent offensive chances, just gotta finish.

0-0 end of the 1st, NY playing D a bit better, but the need to generate more than 5 shots

Washington's also a very dynamic offensive team. If we can hold them down for a full game, that will go a long way to giving this team its confidence back. It would also be a very good sign for the rest of this season.

Sure like seeing Prucha and Korpi playing key roles. Be nice to see Zherdev step it up and get something accomplished tonight. Looks like we may be seeing the Staal-Ovechkin battle for many years.
