Any interest in a Nilsson for Benoit Pouliot?

They are both underachieving badly and a change of scenary may help both of them.

I would do it. As an oiler fan.
But i think edmonton would rather use Nilsson in a package at the deadline.

I always thought nilsson was to break out this season, but I expected that from all the other oilers kids ...

Cogs, Gilbert, Grebs are all doing pretty darn well if you ask me. Gagner is showing signs that his slump maybe ending soon.

Pretty lateral. I guess Edmonton might do it if they want to save money and think Pouliot will amount to anything.

One Pouliot is enough. At this point I'd rather keep Nilsson.

I'd be more interested in acquiring Gaborik's rights at the end of the season - a few months of exclusive negotiating is easily worth a 2nd or a prospect

Why would you want to waste cap space on Gaborik? The guy can't play 3 consectutive(healthy) games, and more than 10 before being sidelined long term.

Since Nilsson got blasted by the media, MacT, and probably some veterans he has 1G, 1a, and a +5 in two games. It might be wise to hold on to him until the trade deadline. His value is probably a second rounder, or another problem player.

pass here, I like Nillson, if the kid ever puts it together, he could be extremely good, but that is a big IF, either, I'd rather gamble on him than another Pouliot.
