Markov brings out his move, knew it was coming. Good job Andrei. Hopefully Price is back on Wednesday, I can't take much more of Halak and his flopping around and terrible rebound control. It's not his fault that he's not that good but maybe we are spoiled with how good and calm Price is. But we do play back-to-back this week so...

Sergei was pretty bad defensively today.

Wait.. let me correct that.. Sergei was pretty ******* bad defensively today, so Carbo probably was too pissed for that to happen.

Ugly win but I'll take the two points.

Koivu and Price can't come back soon enough. Hell, I can't wait for even Dandy to come back to end the turnover gongshow that is Brisebois.

What a weird and crazy game that ended well.

What a weird and crazy team that somehow finds ways to win that we have.

Markov, AK46 and Kovalev really need to use new SO moves. So predictable what they will do every single time.

at Markov always using that move.

I don't have much confidence in Halak right now..Price is THAT much better than him, imo.

Ugly win, but i'll take the 2 points..

AK46

The shootout lineup was fine. Kovalev is pure talent, Kostitsyn had two goals and Markov has been very good in shootout. No point in chancing rookies in shootout unless they were hot that night.

Sergei needs to deserve the shootout. Even with one sweet pass to Andrei, he had another terrible game.

Four things come to mind after a game like this:

1) Afternoon games (especially on a Sunday) suck.
2) When is Koivu coming back?
3) Perhaps more importantly, when is Price coming back?
4) With all due respect to Mr. Gainey, DO SOMETHING TO HELP THIS POWERPLAY. How many games do we have to blow or almost blow because of it before you seek outside help?

D'Agostini seems to be falling out of favour with Carbo. Gorges can play better. I like what I saw from Chippy and Pacioretty.

I cannot stand anymore of Jaroslav Halak. For god's sake you're already a small guy, why do you play so deep in your net and play on your knees all the time ? makes yourself even smaller! Please god let Carey Price come back for next game.

I am not happy with this game the Habs fight so hard to get the lead and then just let it slip away in the third against a bottom feeder team in Florida...... If things dont change this team wont go very far if they make it to post season

Well, you're pretty ugly then, but I wouldn't say hideously ugly. Lets just say, you are a dragon. A knight will one day slay you and many other dragons, to bag his princess. So yeah, you still get a lot of action.

Habs are just a different team w/out Price in nets. In another thread someone asked about our team identity. I think so much of the Habs identity is starting to revolving around Price's poise and prowess in nets.

We've got to play a lot better. The PP is a f----ing disaster.

What a relief. Bad game overall, eventhough the second period was really good.
