considering the cap is going down, we probably won't be resigning or signing any big ticket items until either one of Erat or Legwand are gone

If he is unable to comeback to play this season...he wouldn't have the opportunity to sign a contract because no insurance company would cover his contract due to the pre-existing condition.

And so it begins. If he comes back and plays at 80% the level he was before, I will gladly take my plate of crow with some hot sauce and some hushpuppies on the side. I thought he couldn't pull the fork out of his back.

I never thought he'd come this far either. Im not pulling up to the table until I see him skate through the Pred head though.

this is great news! The pred fans here much be very familiar with the situation, but hes always been a favorite player of mine. Would be great to see him and back and healthy, not to mention the impact he could have on the team.

I'm shocked he's now cleared for contact drills. I didn't expect that until later this month or next. And that's really great news, but who on our team is really going to hit him in practice? I know they don't hit as hard in practice as they do in games but I'm afraid that no one is going to want to hit him in practice because who would want to be the guy to put sully out before he even go back on the ice for real.

But, Yea Sully!! Keep going!

I would bet he'll be the one pushing the physical play. Nobody is going to willingly take a blindsided hit or hand one out to a teammate.

They'll know if he is ready without Shea or Jordan lining him up.

This is the best news I've seen related to the Preds literally since Freeman and co purchased the team. The Preds need a morale booster. I don't care if he plays like crap, I'm just happy and proud to see him return.

Here's the Tennessean article http://tennessean.com/article/200901.../90105015/1028

350F for smaller fowl. Mind if I join you? I'll bring some homemade mac and cheese.

EDIT: www.crowbusters.com has lots of recipes.

I hope all goes well and sees action when he plans to. I'm proud of his determination. I've been a fan of his since his Chicago days, so go Steve!

Lets see what the little guy can do. If his speed is still relatively there, he should be more effective than Ward along side Arnott/Dumont.....I'm keeping my expectations on the very very low side....

I nearly "S" my pants now there's no way I can go to bed and get some sleep, I friggin STOKED!!! I like you Enoch, I'll keep my expectations low but man I can't wait to see the crowd rockin over his return.

Wow! That's such great news.

I hope he plays Saturday just to hear how loud the crowd would be when he steps back onto the ice for his first shift. Actually it may also be that loud during the pregame skate!

I hope he can be a spark, even if he ends up sitting on the bench the whole game. I don't expect a hattrick again, but a few goals by the whole team would be nice!

Go Sully Go!!!!

Wow, it's amazing that this guy is getting back on the ice. Good for him, I hope he's back for real, even as a Stars fan.
