Redden vs. Jovanovski

Both make the same money. Both were at one time considered top 10 NHL d-men. Neither are anymore.

Who would you take and why?

I never considered Jovanavski a Top-10 defenseman. I was of the small minority of Nucks fans who always believed thar Ohlund was a much better blueliner. I saw Jovo turn the puck over in the neutral zone countless times, and when he'd have the perfect opportunity to sxore, he would make a boneheaded play that even Marc-Andre Bergeron would criticize.

As for the question, I'll take Redden.

Gimme Jovo cop. Hes 6'2, he can skate fast, he can fight, he can play offence, sure hes defensive skills is questionable.

as a canucks fan i could never again deal with th constant giveaways that jovo provides and i think redden will bounce back to a degree so i took redden

Jovocop, because I wouldn't touch Redden with a 100ft pole.

If Jovocop became available, I'd at least consider dealing for him. I wouldn't take Redden on re-entry waivers.
