Yeah, and I bet that letter is framed somewhere in one of Holmgren, Snider or Clarke's offices. But that isn't relevant.

No suspension, and we better not see one if someone turns around and does this same thing to Sid or Malkin.

And what, exactly, would they call the suspension?

Dropping the gloves and beating on someone is stupid, and undisciplined, and pretty weak, but it's not suspension worthy. I saw it happen twice in yesterday's NHL On the Fly highlights (Tucker was one, forget the other).

A 4 minute PP was sufficient.

Get real people. This poll shouldn't even be this close.

I wonder if Georges Laraque or Colten Orr did the same to another player if they would get suspended?

Darcy Hordichuk jumped Sean Avery and didn't get suspended. That's an example of an enforcer jumping an unwilling opponent with no suspension.
