How bad was losing Radulov?

How big of a loss has it been? I know Nashville was already lacking offense but they've really struggled of late.

It was a big loss, we already struggled at times last year scoring... but for some stretches last year the Arnott Dumont Radulov line was on the best on the whole league... But now, when the likes of Fiddler and Ward get top line time... well you know.. we need really 2 top 6 guys to have something resembling a NHL offense.

what he said, we have scrubs on the top line and we've scored about 6 goals over the past 2 months.

it will never happen because the KHL refuses to let it take place out side of Russia (because they know they will lose.)

I wouldn't say Ward is that bad. For a guy that makes half the money as Bonk and still have the same amount of points as him isn't too bad. I would expect guys like Bonk, for all the money he makes and expierience he has to step it up in a situation like this.

Not to stick it to you guys, but if we wanted to make a gamble of Radulov wanting to come back to the NHL, what would you think would be a fair price for the rights to him at this point?

I mean, it would be difficult to see Radulov ever play in a Predators jersey again as plausible, right?

actually, I think a lot of people expect him to be back next season, myself included. I think there's been too many reports of missed paychecks, questionable playing conditions, etc...and too many, "I'm open to going back to the NHL" quotes as well.

Really? That sounds good for your prospects. Really do miss a few impact players on offense.
I just thought there'd be too much anger with the way he left for the club to entertain the thought of him dressing for you again.
If you can be above that, then that's much better than taking the high way robbery deal I had dreamed up .

Erat and Sullivan really need to step up. It's that simple. Radulov's departure really hurt, yeah, but he was one player on a team, and not even a game breaker on his own.

Coming back and scoring lots of goals heals all wounds

He can come back as long as he doesn't do anymore interviews. My God those were painful experiences hearing him talk.

Are you kidding me? I LOVED hearing him talk. He was hilarious.

Besides, I need to make sure his voice hasn't changed so my impression is still on par...

It was painful and embarrassing to here him speak. He's a walking example of poor public speaking.

None of those rumors deal with his team, Ufa, at all. They are well off and doing fine.

Well, we will see next year. I'm not even thinking about it, much like Sullivan if he comes back it will be a pleasant surprise.

There have actually been only five teams with reported major financial issues:

Novokuznetsk
Cherepovets
CSKA
Voskresensk
MVD

Of course, when the online version of Telephone gets played, that changes into "the entire KHL is having major financial issues." Besides, it's not like teams with financial issues is anything out of the ordinary in Russia.

I would love to have Radulov back, but I don't expect him back any time soon.

KHL getting ready to cut salaries

Come back Rads, all will be forgiven when you score your first goal

Maybe it's just me but this quote struck me as funny given our Radulov situation:

Spartak Moscow forward Alexei Akifiev was less understanding. “What is the point to sign contracts if this is allowed to happen? Are they just a piece of paper without any laws existing supporting the content?

Get HIM into our training camp next year.

Even better. Does he qualify for bonus payments that count toward the cap minimum? Like $9M if scores over 40 goals AND we win the Cup?

Which reminds me, will Sully be bonus eligible next year? And can Irish Blues mysteriously appear and remind me how those work with the cap floor?

Rumour from over here in Europe is the Rads wants back to the NHL next year--so he is either back to nashville or the preds get some free players next year for a guy who they don't have this year.
