Still I would like to see our team playing 1, 2, 2 have at least 4 players on our blue line. Too bad we do not know how to trap.
They played a pretty decent trap against the Canucks.

If the boys can get an early lead, it might be beneficial that there's a couple defensemen suiting up as forwards. (I'm lookin' for some positives; don't shoot me.)

I can see it turning into a Ovie-Carter spectacle. Someone will get 28 or 29 tonight.

I think the Flyers need to play defense first and bury the few chances we are gonna get tonight. Shoot the pucks in the corners and hold on to possession. If this turns into a wide open game the Flyers will surely lose. This game is really gonna test Stevens coaching and game planning abilities.

Don't expect very much from this game, so I'll be more than happy with one point. Our only hope is that Theodore throws up another stinker.

It was the Caps' worst loss since 2006, and Boudreau thought the Flyers rubbed it in by playing some of their top forwards in the closing minutes.

"What goes around comes around eventually," he told NHL.com. "And it will."...

In today's Washington Post, Boudreau said, "I don't know how much they like us, but we don't like them. I think the animosity [at the end of last month's game] was more frustration on our part. We thought we had played a pretty good game, but yet we were down, 7-1. There were a lot of boiling points.

"They wanted to pile it on as much as possible. They were probably bummed out that their tough guy got beat up twice, so they started coming after our guys."
There was another quote in the original article and it's on the video on the Capitals site too from Boudreau

http://capitals.nhl.com/

Quote:
"They've got a lot of injuries on their team," Boudreau said. "That's what the newspapers keep saying. But they're not talking how many injuries we had when we played them. Poor Philly."

I live in the DC area, so I saw that interview being played on the local comcast. He just shot up on my most disliked list. He's a ****ing beady-eyed piece of **** who loves to make excuses and cry like a little baby. The sad thing is, I really like the Caps teams (specifically Ovechkin), but there is no way I can cheer for them with that joke on the bench.
