J Bo/PHI

Of late, Ive been reading about and seeing proposals about J Bo going to Philly. I can promise you J Bo will not end up in Philly. They currently have a situation with getting Brierre back into the lineup because of their cap situation. Does anybody really think the Flyers are going to offer the best package of picks/prospects for an UFA who is going to demand atleast 5 mil per year this July?

Yeah, just move Lupul and Jones for just picks or something and there'll be room.

Just some minor changes and we'd be set for J Bo. Besides, why do we need J Bo? We have a pretty solid defense that consists of Timonen, Vaananen, Coburn, etc.

It is possible but Flyers would have to move more then that. Once Briere comes back and Jay salary. Thats 11.5M right there. Between Jones and Lupul is about 5.4M

Thats why I would not mind moving Carle and Lupul. Carle is a better player.

I would love to get Jay because once Giroux and JVR come to NHL they won't have to worry about playing D as much

Well we'd have to move someone to get J-Bo alone, so I figured that was assumed (salary trade to FLA)

I suggested Lupul, Parent, Jones, a 1st, and a 4th for a locked-up J-Bo. Or, make it that package with the 1st conditional on his re-signing for at least 3 years or something.

NMC, and he probably won't waive for florida. if he does and we trade briere for jbo, i'd be ecstatic.

What would be considered high? What about Lupul at $4.25 million starting next year?

GM game in fantasy forum

Hey guys, sorry this is kinda OT, but we need GM's for a very well-run GM trade/off-season game in the fantasy forum.

Florida is available, so you could take their GM spot and make your own trade of J-Bo!

they must want a locked up player though because without being locked up a lot of players aren't going to want to stay there.
