Yup. That is why I feel fairly confident both will Leafs come this summer.

But, the opposing argument is that both can be traded this summer because of clauses in their contract. Kaberle and/or Kubina might prefer to go to a contender at the deadline rather than risk being moved to a less desirable location this summer.

But, again, I expect they'll both be Maple Leafs come the mornign after.

Kaberle has hinted on it. Think about it.. Tucker, McCabe and Mats are gone, those were Kabbys 3 best friends on the team. He didn't want to waive it last year because they didn't. Toronto can also tell Kabby, waive it now and have an option or don't and we'll send you to the highest bidder in the summer. Same goes for Kubina.

I miss something? When did Okposo start dominating? Or is it the part when he quit school before he was flunked out?

If JVR didn't dominate in the WJC, I highly doubt he's ready to dominate the NHL.

That's about 40 players who could be available, a few big names as with every deadline, but a good variety of players, I think the returns won't be as high this year as in years past especially with a highly regarded draft crop in 2009.
