Andrei needs to understand that he's the go to guy on this team.
He should be leading this team in scoring.

It's only his second full year in the league...

I think some people are expecting too much too soon from the Kostitsyns, especially after both of their breakout seasons last year. Well it's natural for young players to regress in their second year...and both of them are starting to come on now, just like they did about a month or so earlier last year.

i wish sergei would score more though. Not that he's sucking at it, it's just that he doesn't try enough because he doesn't shoot. It seems like every time he scores it's from an amazing shot or a great move. Why doesn't he try more often ?

Andrei's skills, in my opinion, are now that far off of a guy like Kovalchuk. He may not be quite as explosive and he needs to be more consistent but he has sick hands and an incredible release. He is strong and is punishing when he decides to hit. I think he needs a set up guy like Koivu and to play with his brother. A twenty goal second half would put him around 30 for the year and he has the potential for at least 40 if he can put it all together next year...

I still can't get enough of those goals against Atlanta and Washington by Andrei. Just wow.

No doubt this guy gets 40 consistently in this league eventually.

Its funny to see that almost every Andrei's goal, Kovalev is on the ice with him.

nice vid.

The Kost bros = a HUGE part of our future.

Now if only Sergei would start playing better...We need him to start picking it up.

I hope both are Habs for a LONG time.

Cuz Sergei is soft on puck, so he doesn't have it much since he is bad at winning battles for it, and bad at keeping it on his stick when he does get it. Because of this Sergei doesn't get many offensive chances since he is largely unable to fabricate plays by himself. This will always be a major fault of Sergei's game.

Might be that the OP is Russian where you would say "Bratya Kostitsyni" or Brothers Kostitsyn.
