Sorry Drizzle!
I too have been in Coheed frenzy last couple days. Right now, I am listening to "the Receiving End of Sirens" Between the heart and the synapse is such an amazing cd.

Uh there have actually been A LOT of bands that do folk metal, and do it a lot better than them.

But me I've been listening to a lot of Squarepusher and Aphex Twin. And Heironymus Bosch.

The Sunrise/Sundown EP by Jesu has been in my car CD player for about a month now too. Also a mix CD of Meads of Asphodel, SUMA, Manes, Nahvalr, Aeturnus, Ribspreader, Drowned and Boards of Canada.

Bob Dylan's "Tell Tale Signs" is amazing. His collection of alternate takes and unreleased songs puts the vast majority of other albums released to shame. It might be the best album of the year.

I meant the only band I have found to do it well, to the point I like it...sorry I meant to make it sound more like my opinion of it...not as a blanket statement.

apologies

Mostly this lately: http://www.myspace.com/youmeandeveryoneweknow

However, since I turned iTunes on shuffle today, The Beatles's Abbey Road album recently came up.

All of you would probably call me a flaming homosexual if you knew the kind of music I listened to so I shall not share it. However, I must inform you that I stray far away from metal, alternative rock, punk, what have you as most of you enjoy.

The Flyers website has a good little video with Lupul playing guitar, he sings an awesome Tragically Hip song, Wheat Kings.

I too have been on a Coheed kick ever since watching the trailer for the new Tim Burton movie.

I've also been listening to the Boys Night Out - Trainwreck album. Pure lyrical genius.
