Strachan Called Up

I guess if Junland returns to Sweden now, the only rational thing to do is blame the Blues for terrible asset management.

Interesting choice. I've been intrigued by Strachan ever since he made it until the last round of cuts in training camp. Let's see what he can do.

I guess this means Brewer will be out for a little longer than anticipated.

Did Weaver get sent down (fingers crossed)

As far as Junland, I watch the game yesterday and despite some good effort, he looked undisciplined often.

Also, I hope his promotion does not become about Lemp. I assume that was a joke/disappointment though.

Yep. Just a little dig.

I'd like to see Strachan tonight, but not at the expense of Colaiacavo and Brewer (as it sounds like it would be). I don't mind Weaver as a 7th defenseman at all but wouldn't be thrilled with watching him for a long stretch. It'd be interesting to see what we have in Strachan because I remember him being impressive in camp.

Shutdown, physical defenseman, with a heavy shot....correct? Can remember for certain.

The heavy shot is what I remember. He can fire the puck. If Colaiacavo is out, he may need to from the point.
