The hair guy at flyers games

I know it's sort of random, but does anybody remember this guy? Not sure if you guys even know who i'm talking about. I was just wondering what happened to him. Is he still at the games?

He was awesome, heck, i even think he's better than the dancing guy, Shawn Hill.

here's a vid

Hair Man? I haven't seen him in years. I think the Flyers at one point gave him a jersey (that said Hair Man on the back) and had him stopping by different sections and starting various chants.

But the dancing guy is currently their only 'mascot'. Unless you would count Sign Man.

I don't think I've ever seen that guy, but there is one dude whose got an orange and black mohawk and has the Flyers logo tattoo'd to both sides of his scalp. I see him every game. He's always got a really ****ing annoying horn that he blows when we score, but he sits in the section next to me and he's always there, so I don't know. I know he has a jersey with Super Fan on the back, just don't know if the organization gave that to him themselves or if he did that.

My wife was scared of that guy in Sept of 07 when we went to a preseason game

He is crazy. I will give her that. He always looks so angry, and he's always by himself. I forget which game it was this season, but I got there really early so me and frind were waiting outside the pavilion for it to open, and he was standing right next to me, and I looked at him, and he glanced back and I swear it was a look of death. I was like "I'm staying away from that guy."

The wife and I got to the paviliion killer early that day (my first game at the Wacky since 01) and he was there 1st in line -- never talked to him but when he is on TV I always point him out to my wife and she just gets this look in her eyes

YOu gotta give him credit for being a "true" fan. If I had hair I would do the mohawk -- but I could never do the ink

I think i saw him at a game last year during warmups. He was yelling back and forth with Avery. But then again i think it might have been the guy Kambo was talking about.

dug up some info, his real name is Bill Page. Looks like he's in the movies business and a stand up comic. In an interview he said "the hairman" is retired

Highly untrue. Saw him at the game with his crazy hair as usual on Dec 16 vs the Avs, no way he retired.

This is the interview i was talking about, from the same website:

Away from movies and stand-up comedy you have also made yourself a name as The Hairman, the (unofficial) mascot of NHL's Philadelphia Flyers. What can you tell us about that ?
I used to go to the Philadelphia Flyers games dressed in Orange/Black and wearing either a Orange/Black mohawk or Orange/Black spiked Hair wig. I heckled the opposing players and got the fans pumped up.

Any future projects we can look forward too (both as youself and as the Hairman) ?
Well, THE HAIRMAN is officially retired, but I hope to be working on a new film sometime in 2008.
