I'd be very surprised if something did. The leafs didn't acquire May to protect Grabovski from the Habs, lol. give me a break, we're not a very tough team to play against physically, the leafs don't have to worry.

We've got how many forwards on the team who will consistently throw hits? 4? lol.
Pardon?

grabo loses no matter what he does in the eyes of the montreal fans. he hid behind the ref. he tried to break away from the ref and should be suspended! you really cant have it both ways. also consider that sergei is listed as both taller and heavier (by 18 pounds). but yes...grabo is a total *****, soft euro who will be a thorn in the side of any team he plays for.

anywho, i'm off to play some late night shinny. work out the frustration of being a fan of such a mediocre (at best) team. you all enjoy your bashing now, y'hear?

for the record, i think sergei is quite skilled and will definitely be a go-to guy for the habs in the future if you can hold onto him (which for some reason i dont think will be a problem).

'nite guys. have a good one. enjoy your team. and before you bash leafs fans, think back to waht it was like loving hockey and being a habs fan not too long ago....

Your kidding me right.
Grabo will never go after Sergei without refs in between.

Grabo waited pretty late to be putting on the "let me at 'em" routine. i wonder what he would have done if the ref let him get by. I'm guessing not much

I'm sure this question has probably been answered several times on the Canadiens board but I cannot find a clear reason why the Kostitsyn brothers and most of the Habs hate Grobovski so much other than his showboating he has done?

Can anyone explain to me an incident that may have happend between Sergei and Grabovski that has triggered this strong hate for each other? I read somewere else that Sergei used to be Grabovski's only friend when he played in Montreal?

I don't understand why Sergei and Grabovski don't try fighting during play instead of waiting until well after the whistle goes.

We all would.
As long as Sergei does not break his hand.
Grabo would get tuned like a Hendrix guitar.

I haven't seen much from either of them to indicate that they'd be willing to fight during play. Both confrontations have pretty much been after the whistle near the end of the game. If they hate each other so much they should drop the gloves the first time they are out there together on a faceoff. Neither player would be missed for five minutes in the first period.

sergei would probably win, especially when grabs getting tackled by the ref like that, grabs would put the semin "fight" to shame if they scraped. the only thing grabs has on sergei is that dirty flow

Sergei has 2 NHL fights against much bigger and stronger opponents.
What about Grabovski?

I don't think he's fought in the NHL.

It doesn't matter though. I haven't seen either them try to fight the other one until there were a bunch of officials between them. If they really want to fight they just need to drop the gloves and square up during play. The referees would watch them go. It's the after the play stuff that the referees stop.

I didn't read the thread... Did you guys notice that while the ref had Grabovski down on the ice, May tried to restrain Grabovski with his stick? It's pretty sad when even a guy like May knows better...

The Kostitsyn vs Graboski cause of fued REVEALED

Lol..The title sounds a lot more juicy than it is..

But Dany Dube on La Zone just said their fued is the result of Grabovski going on various blogs to talk trash about the brothers.

That's why Sergei is always focused on beating him up.

I think Carbo's gonna have a stern talking to with Sergei. He didn't look too happy pulling him by the jersey there.

According to Dany Dubé, Grabs was backstabbing the Kosts brothers in Russian media while he was playing for Habs. What a little biatch. They hated him. Good thing Grabs was traded to Toronto, we can even hate him more.
