Who covers Lucic next game

I say since BGL is injured and clearly Lucic is too afraid to fight him we call up Stewart for a game he has the speed to out race Lucic and the stamina to play the same minutes as Lucic and will be able to fight him and likely win.

Is Stewart even that good a fighter? I only saw him fight once, that was last year against McCabe i think. Nothing special..

I heard Lucy is injured,he broke a nail, don't know how long he will be out for.

We shouldn't play that kind of game, let's play hockey and beat them. They can win the moral victory again

meh.. Let's not bother with Lucic. The Habs only need to play their game and hurt them on the scoreboard. Worked pretty well last year.

We don't need someone to cover Lucic. He's not Gretzky. We just need to impose our own rhythm and forget about him.

Stewart is alot tougher than any of you think. He also did alot of work in the offseason on his fighting and he has become one of if not the best middleweight in the ahl.

He also got a TKO on Mitch Love of Houston and pounded on mike duco of rochester.

we don't need to keep him up here for a month and we don't need him period.Since Laraque has been out of the lineup, we haven't done that bad with only 1 loss

I'm not worried about Lucic. I'm worried about Savard and Kessel, and Julien's ability to get the matchups he wants.

if the habs need to call up one player to cover a guy like Lucic for one game, we are in trouble.

the bruins are a team the last time i checked. I would be more concerned with players who actually make a difference in a game.

the whole Lucic thing is so overdone its not even funny. I remember beating them 8 times last year and eliminating them with Lucic. All of a sudden we need a gameplan solely around him? I didnt get the memo that he was a 50 goal scorer. Look what happened when laraque shadowed him- oh yes we lost and he scored.

Komisarek will cover Lucic. He alwasy does and he does a darn good job. No body gets to Lucic like him. I'd bet Komisarek has been chompig at the bit for this one for some time. He'll hit and frustrate Lucic every chance he gets and now he won't have to worry about fighting him since he's already been there and done that.

I like him but those fights dont impress me, Lucic would eat him alive, raise his arms in the air and scream like a retardation.

In a fight, Lucic would beat everyone on the NHL team, AHL team, ECHL team, and prospect pool except Laraque

Bringing a guy up from the minors to play against a winger on the Bruins would make the team look weak and foolish.

Don't know where you heard that, Lucic missed his first game last night and Julien says he's day to day.

He's fighting midgets...
Doubt he'd have much success against guys like Lucic, Thornton or Chara (although no one has much success against Chara)

Stick Lapierre on him, he's been playing great and could maybe Esa Tikanen him a bit, nothing to crazy, but shadow him a little, piss him off, and Laps wont drop his gloves anyway.

Wow, the "NEW" NHL has brainwashed me.

But we really don't need to worry about him that much, although he's a blatant charger, he has a bit of class. I think the tempers may be a little more mellow now that he got to fight Komi, he'll still go hard, that's how he plays, but I don't think it'll be exactly the same mentally.
