A.Kost, ppg player this year?

He has 6 points in 3 games already and it seems that everything is going well for him, if we consider that before his hat trick he had like 9 points (Not too sure). But he's on fire so can we expect him to finish near a ppg this year?

Kost bro rules don't separate them

i think something like 60-70 pts is more realistic.

He would need 55 points in 42 games (assuming he remains healthy) to finish the season PPG. I don't see that happening honestly, but 55-60 points is not unreasonable to expect out of him imho.

He's not. Look at his play, he don't play that well. He could do more, on defencive and offencive side. I like him A LOT, but he's not at his best right now, but he look better than at the start of the year.

I'm hoping he does great for the rest of the season.

But imo, next year will be his break-out year. I'm thinking 75-80 points

Right now he's looking like a classic slow starter/hot finisher, and I don't mind at all. As long as he's racking them up when it counts...

Picked him up off waivers in my fantasy league and am reaping the rewards...

He'll finish some around 50-60 points.

Maybe not this year with the start he had + he missed some games but if he wants to be a point per game player he needs to stop all the finesse crap and just starting shooting on net.The game against the Flyers last year I believe game 5 when he just entered the zone and took a sick wrist shot now that's what he should be doing more of

If they keep him away from Kovalev at even strength he will have a chance to do it but I do not think he will get there .85-.9ppg is more realistic.

A.Kost is the worst defensively, he just stands at the blue line and watches his teammates do the job haha.

Still, I like him! He's our all star, why waste his energy defensively ie. Pleky..

Not this year.

I can't believe no one on our team is really anywhere near a PPG. What was that stat I heard, only Florida's leading scorer has less points than ours? Crazy.

In Jeff Carter's first 2 seasons, he played 143 games, and had 37 goals, 42 assists, for 79 points.
Andrei Kostitsyn to date has played 148 games, with 41 goals, 49 assists and 90 points.

Yes I know there's a bit of an age discrepancy but AKost is slow starter. He wasn't NHL ready in 2004 like the 4 wonderboys that you mentioned but his numbers are pretty respectable for the first 150 or so games of his career. Patience.

Possible? Yes, since almost anything is possible. Will he? Unlikely.

He's picking up pace though and it's great to see.

His defence needs work, I agree, but it's nowhere neer what the anouncers says it is, on RDS. Brunet the other night just didn't stop ripping into him. He even blamed a goal on him "because he wasn't covering his man" in front of the net! He's a WINGER he should be covering the shot from the LD LIKE HE WAS! God I hate Benoit!
