He would need 55 points in 42 games (assuming he remains healthy) to finish the season PPG. I don't see that happening honestly, but 55-60 points is not unreasonable to expect out of him imho.

He's not. Look at his play, he don't play that well. He could do more, on defencive and offencive side. I like him A LOT, but he's not at his best right now, but he look better than at the start of the year.
Maybe not this year with the start he had + he missed some games but if he wants to be a point per game player he needs to stop all the finesse crap and just starting shooting on net.The game against the Flyers last year I believe game 5 when he just entered the zone and took a sick wrist shot now that's what he should be doing more of

Yes I know there's a bit of an age discrepancy but AKost is slow starter. He wasn't NHL ready in 2004 like the 4 wonderboys that you mentioned but his numbers are pretty respectable for the first 150 or so games of his career. Patience.

His defence needs work, I agree, but it's nowhere neer what the anouncers says it is, on RDS. Brunet the other night just didn't stop ripping into him. He even blamed a goal on him "because he wasn't covering his man" in front of the net! He's a WINGER he should be covering the shot from the LD LIKE HE WAS! God I hate Benoit!
