The Air Horn Guy

Where is he? I just don't hear him anymore. For anyone who doesn't know, prior to this season, at every Flames home game, there always used to be some guy with an air horn making all kids of racket during the game. At first I thought he was a d-bag who should just shut up and watch the games, but now the Saddledome just seems so... Dead.

I really miss him.

Almost makes SNET games unbearable to watch. Luckily we got the best Play by Play announcer on the radio.

Sometimes, I just get my clock and put it on the radio (Fan 960) while I put my TV to mute while watching the game.

I've sat a couple rows in front of him, it's amazing how loud he gets that thing. But yeah, SNET muting the crowd is just stupid.

Anyone else try and sink Maher with the TV?

CBC "muted" the crowd too (during the playoffs last year), true there are times when people are just watching the game and you get those moments of quiet, but it isn't as bad as the TV is making it sound. Anyone listening over the radio can hear the crowd.
