Glad to see that Luongo might be back in 7-10 days.

• Defenceman Sami Salo, who’s been out nearly a month with a broken rib skated in the optional morning skate and will be practising with the full team on Monday. He could be back in the lineup this week
• Injured goaltender Roberto Luongo had a planned day off on Saturday but is expected to be on schedule to play sometime in the next week
• Forward Jason Jaffray cleared waivers on Saturday morning and was reassigned to the Canucks’ Manitoba Moose minor league team.
As of Han 11 Salo is skating but not pain free , Maybe a couple of weeks..
According to the latest update Salo is expected to be back later this week.
Defenceman Sami Salo (fractures rib) and winger Taylor Pyatt (fractured foot) are also close to returning and will take the full team practice on Monday.
In the same update it said Luongo is ready for a full practice and he had a good 75 minute work out today with Ian Clark and 7 players.
Vancouver Canuck superstar goalie Roberto Luongo will partake in a full team practice on Monday and appears set to return to game action this week.
Luongo survived a rigourous 75-minute workout run by goalie coach Ian Clark today at GM Place.
Seven players took shots on Luongo in a variety of drills designed specifically to test his injured groin.
“I pounded it pretty hard and the groin is feeling fine,” said Luongo. “We pretty much explored everything today. There were some broken plays where you kind of had to react and kick your leg out and be in a bit of a vulnerable position and I didn’t have any problems. So that’s really encouraging. I’m really happy with the way things went.”
I also read in another article that Sami Salo isn't pain free but he's able to tolerate the pain and is able to play through it.
It looks like there is a great chance that both Salo and Louie are back Thursday vs Phoenix.
It kind of does make more sense to keep Salo out until after the all star break.
There's only 4 games to go until the break and if Salo is expected to be back on Thursday vs Phoenix why not just hold him out for another 3 more games and that gives Salo another couple of weeks to rest up and perhaps watch some video on how to protect yourself.
