Bob Gainey's report card

Does anyone know at what time and what radio station the report will be available to us?

I hate discussing report cards. If you question a teacher they get all sensitive and then I get mean, and nothing good comes of it. Are we talking about the same thing.

Imagine Gainey's G8 report card. Teacher notation, 'Wow did his voice change'.

Gainey must be doing something right, his team with 3 top 6 forwards and #1 goalie out is moving up the standings. I really like the depth in the organisation.

His best move this off season was getting Lang rather than waiting out the Sundin saga. Despite not always getting top 6 ice time, Lang is on pace for 30 goals and 60 points. Without him we'd have at least 3-4 less wins with the injuries to Koivu, Tanguay and Higgins. As for getting Tanguay, the jury is still out...

Tanguay and Koivu should be big plus over Begin and Chips.

And Higgins can replace Kosto when he'll get injured..

I think he means that Gainey will come out and address his thoughts from the 1st half of the season.

I really hope Kosto does not get injured. He is playing great on that line and Higgins will not bring the same thing to the table, Higgins will want to control the puck and carry it all the time rather then dump chase bang and crash.

As for Gaineys report card I am sure the overall marks are going to be pretty damn great but there is things he will want addressed for sure.

I don't think anyone was being rude fifi. I just think there might have been some confusion from your question.

Actualy McGuire said that Gainey would start the conference around now, so it might be going on right now, and radio stations and tv station would show us a best-of during the afternoon.

Bob Gainey To Meet The Press Within Minutes

Per CKAC,

Bob Gainey will meet the press in a couple of minutes, it's expected to be a scrum on the first half of the season.

Some journalist better grill him on all of our UFA's and what is the plan on re-signing them. Not just some lame ''So Bob, what will happen with your UFA's?'' type question because Gainey won't say anything. The fans need an answer on this and if he'll start doing his job and sign Komisarek already.

Bob doesn't hear anything about TB, but more about Marian Gaborik and "that defenseman from Florida"

NO NEGOCIATIONS yet with Komisarek or the others.
