How many players do you guys want to keep????
Higgins, koviu, Tanguay
Skost lang Akost
kovalev, pleks, Maxpac
latendresse, lapierre, Kosto
chips, begin, laraque, dago'

add in.. mcdonagh, fischer, emelin, valentenko, webber, subban, quailler, torp, obryne, maxwell, kristo

gainey has stock piled talent... now its time to trade a few good ones for 1 great one.. we have a lot of great inventory and have the depth to make such a trade!

Gainey wouldnt be doing his job if he wasnt calling around trying become a better team.. i do believe that is his job.... ice the best team possible within the cap...isnt it?

just because you hear it doesnt mean its going to happen.. so for those who post.. wow.. we are going to have malkin, vinny, as our centres.. give it up... I talk about going to florida, myrtle and phoenix soon... doesnt mean I am going to all three..!!

I like Max Pac... but malkin... I wish!

LOL! Donato is actually a great guy! Coaches Harvard. Don't know the others though.

Agreed, heck at this point I am not sure if I would want that whinner Crosby here anyways. MaxPAc is looking good and in a package for Malkin is the only way I would want to see him go to the Pens.

I think the Pens will deal Therrien long before they deal any of their talent.

With no wingers because they all get traded for Malkin and Vinnie.

I agree with the way Bob Gainey is moulding this team, he's got, well, right now, the ingredients for 5 contributing lines, if everyone was healthy. I prefer depth throughout the entire line-up than just three players that need to be keyed in on. In a grueling play-off battle, the deeper you go, the more you rely on depth. Having all four lines contributing and rolling, rather than one, maybe two lines, sharing the bulk of the minutes, you keep your players fresher for longer which is an underrated trait come play-off time.
Kovalchuk-Savard-Hossa...

If we could get Malkin for Kovy and MaxPac, that would be a killer deal. I love kovy but he's aging and a UFA. I'm very impressed with MaxPac so far but you never know with a rookie. But Malkin!?! No way Pittsburgh trades Malkin for those two. They may trade him but would offer him up to the highest bidder and the offers would be substantial.

Crosby for O'byrne
Lecavallier for Higgins
Phaneuf for Bouillon

I like it.
