The fans need an answer on this and if he'll start doing his job and sign Komisarek already.
Big time.
I want to know what his plan is.
I want Komisarek signed yesterday.

ckac reports that the press conference is over..some lines from the pc:
- no young players in the farm are untouchable
- gm's are discussing lecavalier around the league, also gaborik : both are possibilities for us
- gainey is working for the long term, economists believe the cap is going down next season
- re: laraque- he can still help us, he is not disappointed with that signing, he would have liked him to be in the lineup against toronto a few days ago. he had some injury problems coming into camp.

Nope, no explanation as to why he hasn't yet. No journalist even asked him if there was a plan to start negotiating soon, arrrrgh.

He certainly didn't ''deny'' the Lecavalier story btw.

The Team 990 is broadcasting this right now for those wondering.

Something about how George could have helped in the game against Toronto?

CKAC (McGuire) said that no prospects from the Habs are untouchable UNLESS they are able to help the Habs within the next 3 months.

It could mean so many things and not-so many things at the same time...

I mean are MaxPac, D'Ago, Chip and Weber untouchables just because they are with the team? I mean it would make no sense to see Chip as an untouchable while by his defintion Subban and McDo are not...

And I just hate the fact that no negotiations has started with our guys....at least with 1...

a small preview of the press conference:

there are no prospects untouchable except the ones that are on the team right now

and Gaborik is the hottest trade discussion

He's thinking about being competitive 2 years from now, not just this year.

Well, I won't get my hopes up about getting LeCav or Gaborik. For some reason the Habs aren't able to land the real big names. I'd prefer Gainey go after a top 4 D man myself.
