read the summary.

good to see that he realizes that the defence is the area to improve. hopefully he will target top 4 D, and not waste his time on gaborik or lecavalier. Lecavalier will never agree to come to mtl, and his contract is huge. Gaborik is done for the year, and he is UFA, so there is absolutly no reason to trade for him!

im thinking that O'byrne is pretty much done, and that he will ber moved along with some other pieces in a trade the extra D the habs need.

"that defenseman in Florida"

ahahha I found that funny.. he didn't mention his name and looked ignorant because he doesn'T care about him or because he wants to hide something?

I found it strange that he names Gaborik but not Bouwmeester.

Not strange. He's not interested in Gaborik, he mentions his name....he's mildly interested in Bouwmeester so he says that d-man from Florida but doesn't mention his name....he's really interested in Lecavalier...he doesn't speak about him....

That simple...

Or I really wouldn't mind Ballard. One of the most underrated d-man in the league.

I've lost my dictionary, but while reading the French summary, can someone help me with " l'abri,"
Abri means shelter. If there's a bigger part you want me to translate let me know.

Where's Chipchura? I heard Gorges was the Captain of the Kelowna Rockets!

You do sound like Don Quichote here.

I think you're right but he did also emphasize that he needs to shore up his defence. Bouwmeester is playing great right now and would be awfully expensive. Tampa's in a dire situation so Lecavalier may be the better bargain right now, if the rumours are true.

The best way for TB to go is re-build.

Pick up another stud at the draft and good assets for Lecavalier.

Stamkos and Hedman...not a bad start.

So is it safe to say that if the Habs land Lecavalier that HF boards would literally explode?

Stamkos and tavares would be...interesting. I call it the pittsburg penguins model. Either way, these guys were argued over who's better the last few years and who'd go first if in the same draft. Ironicly, a year later, the same team could get both.

If i were tampa, i'd get hedman, no question. Thier d-core needs a huge improvement but tavares is way more marketable and would bring more fans than say...hedman.

I think it would be hilarious if Len Barrie forced the Lightning management to draft his son Tyson Barrie 1st overall instead of Hedman and Tavares.
