Would you like Sanford?

Curtis Sanford could be traded when Roberto Luongo comes back, as LaBarbera is there and they've already got Schneider.

To be honest I'd love to have this guy if we deal Halak for something, he's a dependable backup, and a good fill in.

.906 sv% this year, not great, but still, he's better than Marc Denis and looks like a good guy who could be a good influence on Price, plus he's cheap. He's had some great games this year, as well as some bad ones (expected, he's not a starter)

Price
Sanford
Denis

Heck I'd do it. He could probably be had for a very late pick (like Barbs, 7th or 6th)

No, if Labarbera was had for a 7th rounder, I don't think Sanford can cost much more...big deal.

I think Sanford could learn a few things from Price, and not the other way around.

No thanks, I will be very upset if Halak is traded. No need for another backup here. Halak is ours for another couple of years. nothing wrong with that, nothing wrong with depth at goaltending. He is young, cheap and very good. That is needed on a winning team.

Halak has got so much potential, and right now i think he has a low stock. Let him prove himself over the duration of his contract with us, and if it works out we trade him when his stock is at a high and get a good return. As of right now, i'd rather him as our backup then Sanford.

Halak is a solid backup, look what he did even before Price came to the league. He's a good goalie, I wouldn't deal him. Plus Sanford can't play under pressure, and when Price is injured, he probably won't do well. Halak is way better.
