If you look to the right that video that starts with Glen Wesley click that one... Because after it talks about him it gives us an update on Kurtis Foster
That would be awesome. However bear in mind that he has missed a lot of workout time. He will probably be able to play by November, but I'm guessing he'll still need some rehab and strength/conditioning before he is able to play at the NHL level fully, this was a serious injury.
Or how his rehab is coming? I read in the previous post that he was expected back perhaps November 1. Its now mid-November and I'm curious about his progress.
He's been skating, and has said (I'm paraphrasing) that he's starting to feel like he's able to really use the leg again. I would bet he's still quite a bit away from playing.
From what I hear Foster will be headed to Houston for a 2 week conditioning vacation in the next couple weeks. He can stay for a maximum of 2 weeks or he has to pass through waivers. My guess would be if he can play with the pain, and at close to the level proir to the injury, the Wild will definitely move a d-man before the deadline. Probably Johnson or Bergeron.
Sounds like the first game went good, hopefully he improves in his 2 weeks of bus rides.LOL
I would be suprised to see him suit up for a Wild game unless someone gets traded or hurt. Probably going to be doing alot of watching from the press box and skating his arse off in practice.
I was disappointed to hear today that Foster wasn't named as a Masterton trophy finalist. It was almost unbelievable how this guy was able to come back this year from his injury. It would have been nice to see him recognized for that. (not to mention playing for a club less than 10 miles from where Masterton played)

I agree, that would have been nice. I saw some footage of him working to get back. For him to get back and play period was impressive enough let alone be back to play when he did.
Foster has signed a 1 year contract with Tampa Bay. He will be missed. I still cringe when I see his injury. I really think his injury is a good reasons to get rid of touch icing.
