Obviously with wings like Miroslav "Bobby Hull" Satan and Pascal "Robitaille" Dupuis, Shero would never make this move. Remember, you could throw Bob Errey out there right now with Crosby and he'd score 50 just because Crosby would throw the puck off his ass and in to the net all year.

It's a shame that Jagr isn't given more credit for keeping the franchise in Pittsburgh. From 1995-2001 he's the one who kept the franchise relevant and kept people coming to the Mellon every night. It seems like Mario and Crosby are the only two who get recognition.

Jagr is the 2nd greatest Penguin of all time and I loved him even when he was playing for the Rangers and Caps. He did so many great things for the Penguins franchise.

Jagr is a washed up, locker room cancer. No thanks. Then again maybe Sidney could help revive Jagr's playing.

Plus it would be fun to watch czechmate25 squirm.

You are correct.

I think that's been way overblown, though.

With our winger situation, I think we'd take Avery at this point.

how does this work since he played in another league, he has to pass through waivers right?? so if pitt signed him everyone would have a shot of signing him for whatever pitt signs him for??

Read the entire article. It says he would be willing to play for the Pens AFTER his KHL contract

I was so disappointed last season when Jagr announced his NHL days were over. Would have loved to see how high he can climb on the alltime scoring list.

I hope he comes back to play with Crosby & Crowd to win the cup.

And countless others who would refer to us as "bandwagoners," even though only a couple idiots who know nothing about hockey booed him while he was a Cap and Ranger.
I really dont like calling some Pens fans "idiots" for booing Jagr. There were plenty of them. I live in DC and believe me the boos poored when the Pens visted Jagr in Washington. Jagr left in a terrible way. If you have problems with Mario, you have problems with Pittsburgh. I wouldn't call fans "idiots" for showing their distaste for him. They were getting in Jagr's head. Personally, I would like to see him back in Pittsburgh as a player. He really is a gifted hockey player but when he started thinking he was bigger than Mario.... well thats the beginning of your problem

I think he'll be back in the NHL next season. Whats the rules for coming back in the offseason? I know he has a KHL contract, but he could just break it anyways. The KHL cant do anything.

Jagr would get a standing ovation if he rejoined the Pens. Absolutely no doubt in my mind.
