Jer-rome or Jar-rome?

Iginla's first name do you pronounce it Jer-rome or Jar-rome. Both seem natural and I can't figure out which one it is. Flames fans help me here!

Said that way it's spelt.

I hate when I see or hear it 'Jerome'.
