No need for human refs.

Same here. I keep saying this for a long time. Playoff hockey is tougher, tighter, and we hate this. I hated Kovalev's performance tonight....hated it. And for whoever says that we were missing key elements...yes we did....like them.

Be careful Harry, he's a Bruins fan.. He might send Milan Lucic after you to do his dirty work since he can't.

You, sir, are the only joke i see around here. Bruins aren't divers, they just happen to be excellent at it and gave a Despaties impersonnation tonight, i just hope they dont feel like doing it too often.

Thomas played great and Boston really played a persistent game. We'll get the next one!
It's a borderline hit with a borderline call, but guys like him aren't going to get the benfit of the doubt because he has a reputation of being a dirty hitter(And yes, I know the difference between him and kostopolous)

Good game, Kostopolus was a toe away from making it a totally different game... he's usually involved when the Habs win... that's my game shifting moment.

*shrugs*

(please excuse the intrusion, as you were)

Don't care about the result, it's just one game and they showed enough so that I shouldn't be concerned.

I won't blame the refs because the lead was 1 goal and they had 20 minutes to overcome it but did very little.

What did I get out of tonight's game otherwise?

I will never, under any circumstances, watch another Chris Lee reffed game in my life. Fortunately for me, should this team ever make the finals there is no chance in Hell he'd make it that far.

Overall this was a decent game for the Habs.

Don't forget that we miss some key elements..especially Koivu who's always good against Boston.

You can all blame the ref, who is the worst ref I've ever seen in the NHL, but what it boils down to is a hit from behind IS a penalty (didn't deserve a majour but whatever) then, Hamrlik goes off for a crosscheck while on a 3 min. PK. Dumb. Sergei trips Ryder when his brother was in position to strip him of the puck. Dumb.

I was sure Komi was going to get a 2 min. for roughing Savard after his crosscheck to Komi's upper torso, but luckily, no dice.

If players are going to make bad choices, they will be called on them.

Habs had some kind of momentum, not only you kill this but you give your team 2 goals.

Still you didn't read our GDT but I keep saying how we should've put more effort, drive the net and play better. Thomas is a big reason why but mostly it's Julien's system that does the job.

No you can't. Thomas stood on his head, but Chris Lee has always been a terrible ref. He didn't give the game to Boston, he was just a terrible official in general.

They were missing important elements too, so it's a moot point.

On nights like tonight it makes me want Lecavalier in a Montreal uniform. I am not the biggest fan of him or his salary but he is a true game breaker and Montreal doesn't have that. In a HUGE game, Montreal's guy was a complete non factor and barely showed any sort of emotion or drive to fight thru it.

It wasn't a bad game by any stretch just the effort and passion fizzled as the game went on.

There isn't a lot you can really complain about. For the most part, they played hard, got their chances and couldn't capitalize and lost. You move on.

For me, just slightly disappointed in Kovalev (he has been good lately though) because of the magnitude of the game and his complete disappearing act. And breezy well, you come to expect it.

We shouldn't blame it on the ref...

Thomas was awesome and/or lucky.

Chara (who played 31:48) >>>>> Kovalev (and Carbo still used him 19:04)

Everytime Chara was against Kovy, it seems like Kovy didn't even tried...

Thomas won the game, Habs played decent, good game. Stop blaming people though, it's ridiculous.
don't worry, that's Harry. We all get angry but he just shows it more I guess.

But the same can be said about you guys. I remember every one of the B's 8 losses to the Habs last season was purely because of the refs. Remember?

If we get 35 shots a night on Thomas, they are the ones that will be dismantled. They won't be able to freewheel like they are doing during the season. I'll take my chances on Price vs Thomas any day of the week.

Now I know why the Bruins are winning: they're become the Devils! Most boring third period i've seen in a while. I prefered the passionate, gritty Bruins of last year. Typical Julien: suck the life of everything he touch.
