Habs fans in San Jose / Bay Area?

Hey everyone,

I'm moving to San Jose in the coming weeks for work.
Just wondering if there are any board members living down there and if any bars/pubs cater to habs fans?

Thanks!

I used to live there. You'll be hard pressed to find bars that cater to hockey fans. Most will put the Sharks on when they are playing, but I really don't recall any that pay for Centre Ice... maybe one in Los Gatos will have it.

Don't know of any place up in the Bay area, but if you ever get down to San Diego I do know of a place to watch the games...I tend to watch most games at home as I can have 4 games on at once...

Don't know about San Jose, I live in Berkeley/Oakland. There are a couple bars in San Francisco that play hockey. There were about 20 Montreal fans during last year's playoffs that showed up at a place called Kilowatt on 16th Street. Otherwise, I don't know. If you go to a Sharks game, you'll see hundreds of Montreal jerseys though (when the Habs are here).

When I get home from work I will get you the info. (Located in Santee-about 20 minutes east of downtown San Diego)
I had a few drinks with the owner of the place at the Habs/Kings game last season. He told me he shows all the Hab games at his place as he is a huge Hab fan (arenít we all).

I know Brennan's Pub in Marina Del Rey shows every Montreal game, or they used to. If you go there, ask for "Pino", he's a huge Habs fan and even organizes the Turtle Races.

You can (and I do) do all 3 in CA. (I pass on the snowboarding as I like skiing)
Was born and raised up in Anchorage so really enjoy the winter sports you mentioned. But, here it is, 85 degrees in San Diego on a January day...hard to pass that up

Trashing California makes me feel better about being stuck in this incredibly long winter in BC.

There's a place in Redondo Beach that gets a decent Habs turnout as well, but I don't know the name.
