What would this get Edmonton

What would your team give us using the following players to make a package up.

Penner
Gagner
Visnovsky
Gilbert
Nilsson
Horcoff
any player in the minors

We need a shut down dman, scoring winger,a young good goalie or top centreman. Can anyone make a fair deal for what we are looking for.

We have enough players that are over paid. What was Sather thinking when he signed him to that massive contract. Will GMs ever learn.

Leclaire and Rome for Gilbert?

*runs before she can get flamed*

edit: Swap out Rome for Klesla and give CBJ a pick and that could be considered semibalanced. I'm not 100% certain though; I'm still not exactly great at valuing our own players.

If Leclaire could only stay healthy. He is a very good goalie and could get a very good return. He is a goalie that I wouldnt mind trading for in Edmonton. What does Columbus need? I know they need a centreman. I would give up Horcoff for Leclaire

Then it sure is a good thing the closest you'll ever get to managing a hockey team is your Xbox or making terrible threads on a messageboard.

We badly need a defenseman with offensive ability as top priority - right-handed shot a major plus. Therefore, interest in Gilbert. (He's also young enough that our first rounder would definitely come into play, but I'm not sure how to work out the value on that one.)

Center is also a priority, but it appears to be secondary; I think we're shopping for lower-cost second-liners like Vermette. Dunno how/if Horcoff would fit the bill, although I wouldn't object to a Leclaire swap.

Gilbert is a very good puck moving d man that is signed long term for 5 more years after this one; Schremp is not liked by Mac T it is hard to say. I think he would be a good try with Nash as Nash needs a set up man and Schremp can surely pass the puck and thread a needle. Garon has not played that much and has not been that good. If Leclaire can stay healthy I feel like Edmonton has won this deal. From an Edmonton point I would make that trade.

Only people on the Oilers I'd be willing to move are.

I'd move Penner as Nilsson is cheaper.

Pouliot seems expandable as Brule is doing well.
Schremp Isn't going to get a chance on the Oilers.
Also Pouliot and Schremp both seem to have chemistry together so they could possibly be packaged together!?

Staios.. I'd move him and just have this as the top 6; I'd love to get Aaron Ness from NYI for Staios.
Souray Visnovsky
Grebeshkov Gilbert
Smid Strudwick
( Peckham )

I'd move Pisani as well. Alot of you love him for his PK abilities but he's overpaid and REALLY if you think about it. Cogliano, Horcoff, Moreau and perhaps if we make a trade to Ottawa for Vermette that would solve our pk just fine and have a player who produces much more.

Also waive Garon or trade Roloson.

Oh... almost forgot, if anyone wants Reddox? He's yours.

I'd.
I'd wager that the Isles wouldn't take Staios at any cost right now. Still a useful player, IMO, but makes a lot of coin for a bottom pairing dman.

I'd do Ness for Smid though.
