I ran 3 miles in the snow this morning. It sucked rather a lot.

Hot diggity. Peter Boner initiated. I'd love to see him crush Cindy's face in half when Peter is carrying the puck.

Dubie back with the Islanders, DiPietro out for the season

The Islanders have reached an agreement with former goaltender Wade Dubielewicz on a contract for the rest of the season for the pro-rated portion of a $500,000 annual salary, according to an NHL source. The club has indicated plans to provide an update later today on the condition of starter Rick DiPietro, but the signing of Dubielewicz is a strong indicator that DiPietro might be done for the season because of continued swelling in his surgically repaired knee.

Dubielewicz, who has been living with his family at their Connecticut home since receiving a buyout from Ak Bars Kazan in the Russian Kontinental Hockey League, is expected to practice with the Islanders tomorrow morning and likely be available for their game against the Devils Saturday night at the Coliseum.

Earlier today, coach Scott Gordon announced that goaltender Joey MacDonald, who suffered a strained groin five minutes into Tuesday's 2-1 loss to the Rangers, will be out for 2-4 weeks. Realistically, MacDonald's recovery is expected to be at the high end of that time frame. Yann Danis will make his third start this season for the Isles against Boston tonight at the Coliseum, and Peter Mannino has been called up from Bridgeport to serve as the backup.

More of the story here...

Watching that video on mute is one the best things ever. I just imagined him with one of those extremely high pitched girl voices when he said "**** you." Even better the face fit right along with it.

Probably smart to shut him down for the reason regardless. They're going nowhere anyway, he still has what 74 years on his contract, and they'll have a better shot at Tavares/Hedman if he doesn't come back and steal some games for them.

Given the way McDonald has/had been performing, I was shocked to see him rushed back to be honest with you. Yeah, that's just a terrible contract. Congrats to Wang...brilliant!

I think he only has 73 years left though. Then I assume he'll be a UFA?

I want to go snowboarding. Never been. Only been skiing twice and I got totally dicked last time, so my time trying that **** is done with. I demand a blizzard so I can build snow forts.

Im pretty ridiculous at snow boarding. I dont like to do tricks or anything, but ****, I can fly down a mountain really fast. I went boarding last week for the first time in like 4 or 5 years and there was zero rust.

Ive been lots of cool places. Vermont, Quebec, but the best being Salt Lake City, Utah. Most awesome boarding ever.

Quebec sucked ass though. Bunch of *******s they are.
