****! Keith Jones would play better than Randy Jones. They wouldn't even have to press a new jersey, just throw him Randy's.

St. Louis is an all-world player with a world-class shot. Sometimes the best player on the ice is the best player on the ice.

and it's a lot easier to sweep around our net without a late Hatcher coming around the other side. His presence made a lot of forwards realize they had to pay a price to score or get a shot that way. It seems to be a more common occurrence this year for whatever the reason.

It's not like Knuble is the worst defensive player ever. He's not the best but I think you're exaggerating.

I'm talking more in the theory of "the best defense is a good offense." Gagne and Richards (being skill players) sometimes want to try to work the puck into the zone, but you can't do that if the line constantly turns the puck over at the opposing blue line.

That line is victimized by odd-man rushes every night and it's because they constantly turn it over at bad positions on the ice.

There's a time to guess, that time is not when the puck is behind the net. Just a little something I figured I'd let you in on. Oh yeah, the caps lock thingy too.

On tomorrow's night game...I probably will not watch and will go out instead. They seem to do better when I am not home.

My caps lock is under MY control. I'll use it as I see fit.

How the hell is he supposed to see it? Two defenders on this team are staring at this guy with the puck behind the net, giving him ALL DAY to do whatever he wants. He can stickhandle until the cows come home. Biron can only do what every other human can do in that situation. GUESS.

Pro goalies don't guess in those situations, or they shouldn't be. You guess on a 2 on none or a 2 on 1 if your defenseman plays it badly. You don't guess when the puck is behind the net. Take it you've never attended hockey school or a goalie school and your comments are out of frustration. If so, understandable. If not, you shouldn't comment on other people's observations just because you don't agree.

As for tonight's "effort", the less said, the better. I think we've been trending this way a while, but Biron has been on a real hot streak lately and we've been getting some fortunate bounces and etc.

Also, we are seeing guys like Gagne, Carter, and Richie come back to Earth (as I predicted a while ago).

I'm not too upset with individual performances because everyone generally sucked, but the guys need to realize that we can't afford swoons like last year and that they need to get back to basics and start working hard again.

EDIT: And I would respectfully submit (as I have been for a while again), that Knuble should not be with Gagne and Richards. Another absolutely awful performance by that line, I don't mind them not scoring too much, but they are getting beaten defensively on a consistent basis for a line that has 2 of our best defensive forwards and it's because they can't work through the neutral zone because they're playing 4 on 5.
Why dont you come back down from what ever your FLYing HIGH on and talk to people around here like they are human. Get off your high horse and respect others peoples opinions. It is guys like you why alot of people dont post much around here, myself being one of them but I have had it with jerks like you who think they are all high and mighty and can run around calling people "retards" and dont get called out on it. Just because some ones opinion varies from yours gives you no right to be like that.

As far as Biron goes I dont know if he is speaking french on the ice or what but it sure seems like there is alot of times when the on ice communication sucks and causes miuscues constantly. I think he needs to quit playing the puck periodIt seems every game he is either pushing the puck ap the boards past our defensemen or running into them or plays like this. Does anyone else think that this could be part of the problem why we cant clear our zone at times. I like Biron but he needs to quit thinking he is Hextall and overplaying the puck. The odd pass or Stopping the puck behind the net for the defense is great but leave it for the skaters to start the breakout. Biron needs to worry about keeping the puck out of the net not making plays IMO
