Probably because it's his first time on the ice in how long now?

He is being eased back into it, pretty simple route most players take when coming back from injuries.

The way I understood it is that he doesn't want Price to play the ASG if he isn't 100% and risk further injury for something that means nothing.

if we get Price and Koivu back soon I am happy, for the rest I don't care much, their replacements played really well or even better in most cases.

Um, Tanguay? As much as I dislike his soft game, he is still one of our better offensive players.

Thank God, hopefully he comes back after the all-star break ready to go. That's the ideal situation to me. Take the time to be safe.

Did he or is Price simply ready to test his ankle? This whole infatuation to try blaming Carbonneau for everything is absurd!

I completely agree. He was playing very well on defence and I hope he can make Brisebois sit for a while when he comes back.

Players like Dandenault are very valuable in the playoffs as he can play forward or defence depending on injuries. If he plays like he did against Carolina a few years ago, then all the better.

I'm not blaming Carbo at all. I just felt the statement "Price won't play in the ASG unless he plays before" was not necessary to be made publicly unless he wanted to push Carey back sooner. Now Price comes back.

I'm probably looking too deep into this. Still hung on Vinny-gate.

Best news I've heard today. (Price practicing)

Not on defense, Dandy really stepped up and played well when given the opportunity. This is coming from someone that didn't want Dandy to sign with us in the first place.

well Dandy is on the team for the rest of the season weather or not we like it. He was playing pretty decently before he got hurt, and his experience will be helpful in the playoffs. I mean who would you really rather play on the 4th line come playoff time, Dags? Pac? I'd take Dandeneault over them in a 4th line role. Also, wouldn't you rather have Dandeneault as the 7th dman instead of O'Byrne? Dandeneault does have a place on this team, even if it is only for this year.

Me too, but I think it would be cool if he came out and did his "Pose". Then skated off the ice, I think the BC would explode.

Up until Dandy broke his arm, he was playing solid.

I agree. This year he doesn't piss me off as much, guess he's just trying to make the smart play now and doesn't gamble with the puck.To be honest when komisarek went down with that injury, thank God we had Dandenault because if we only had O'Byrne it was going to be a really long month of November/December

I hope he get's back in top shape and can still help us out!

The only game we'd need Price back for before the ASG is the Devils game.

We could also sign Bryan Smolinski to a 1 game contract

Seriously though, I'd rather see Price sit out the ASG in favor of resting

OMG yes way before Dandy, i want someone with hands, and there is no way he will be back on D, BG said he was aiming for a D, which tells me he will find one. No?

Wow.. way to take Fido's question for a ride and bring it on a totally different subject.

he was actually right, it does not matter how much you step it up, if you lack talent then your spot can be easily taken by someone younger, cheaper and of course more talented.

having hands won't help Pac out much if he is on the 4th line though. I just think I would rather have Dandeneault's experience in a 4th line/7 dman role than try and change somebody's role.

Is it really? Insinuating that it was Carbo's comments about not participating in the ASG if he wasn't healthy a reason for him to come back early?
