Next game on NBC, I will not watch. 1050 ESPN Radio, that's all. It's so unbearable to watch that garbage.

All I gotta say is Pierre Maguirre or however the hell you spell his name...is the biggest freakin tool and does not belong anywhere near the word Hockey.

What makes him think we care about what the hell he thinks anyway? Take fighting out of the game?? A fight might have gotten us back INTO the game had Goddard taken the bait!!

I was so happy when Milbury shoved him on the shoulder during intermission even though I can't stand him either. I just wish he would have shoved him to the floor. Pierre was visibly annoyed at Milbury for that lol.

Anyhow, brutal game by the Rangers.

Thanks for showing up again guys, great game!! It was bound to happen somewhere during the 5 game road trip. The refs were nowhere near as brutal as in Chicago or as brutal as the entire NBC crew for that matter.

Hopefully getting back home will give us a shot in the arm.

Statistics behind this game were misleading. We had more shots and "chances" than the Penguins yet the only Grade A chances I saw came from Pittsburgh. If Lundqvist played average today we could have let up five or six goals. We had mediocre shot after mediocre shot, a backhand from a terrible side angle, no real opportunity from the slot, a lot of poor shots from the point, etc; Fleury wasn't forced to play well and he still had a shut out. We need to challenge the goaltender more.

I just have two wishes after watching that game:

1) Assenfratzhole gets AIDs!
2) Crosby shreds his knees.

That would be cool!

This is what I don't get. Do you deny that you got the better of the officiating?

He said that we ****ing sucked, which we did. But the officiating clearly benefited you guys.

"Any lovin' was good lovin'
so i took what i could get"

7/10 aint bad, although that was a tough game to watch, everything they did right in the last 4 games they seemed to forget. whatever. Lets just beat the ducks and enjoy the break.

A very good road trip by the Rangers.Seven points out of a possible ten. They were terrible today but in the big picture this was a good trip. One more game before the ASG and then a few days off.

This was one of those games. For whatever reason the team just did not show up. Got outhustled, lost all the races to loose pucks, sloppy defense coverage, somewhat undisciplined. We really got absolutely nothign going. I think Fleury made only one really good save (the one on Drury). Just have to throw this one out and look towards our first home game in over a week.

The team was tired physically and mentally. Thanks to zebras in Chicago Rangers gave it out in Pittsburgh. The most important Lundqvist looked very good in last two.

But equally important is the fact that even Lundqvist isn't able to bail this team out when their lazy, overpaid UFA failures don't feel like showing up to ****ing play.

I thought about this a bit too. Some of the goals today, at least 1 of the 3 I felt Lundy could get but even if he did...we didn't score a single goal to compete with them anyway.

why do ranger fans like sjustrom?

he is a swedish Rico Fata.. He stinks and is overpaid...

Redden is overpaid and stinks but why no vitriol to kalinan, sjustrom, naslund(he is soft, terrible on D) and disapears and others.

today was top 3 worst efforts of the year, no forecheck then they stink. they creat almost nothing, all offense is off trunovers...

Can't Sather shake things up? Trade someone, addition by subtraction; trade Fritsche, kalinan, whoever for some hockey pucks, and cap relief....

And there were about 4 or 5 saves that he made that Pittsburgh should have scored on.

Sjustrom? Sjφstrφm is paid $800k and if you want to whine about overpaid players, there's a huge number you have to sort through the pile before you get there.

If you would have watched Rangers more than when NBC (Nothing But Crosby) show SIDNEY CROSBY on the PITTSBURGH PENGUINS (vs the new york rangers), you wouldn't complain about our 4th line that much at all.

sjostroms a good 4th liner and PKer but he's expendable imo.

sjostrom, fritsche, voros, and possibly dawes and prucha (sucks, I know) are all expenable. As well as Kalinin on D.

If we could go out and get Neil (UFA), Moen (UFA), and Exelby or maybe even Derek Morris (UFA) (if we can afford him, 3.9 hit/get him) we'd improve a lot in the physicality dept.

Huh? GOdard didn't even go near Gomez until well after Orr first tried going after Sid! If you were actually paying attention to the game he was going after Sid simply because Godard wasn't gonna be suckered into taking a 5 minute fighting major and shifting the momentum into your favour. It's called knowing when to pick your battles, and obviously Godard ended up making the right decision in the end.

I wish there was a way (inexpensive or free) to sync up the audio from 1050 with the TV so I never have to listen to those bums on NBC anymore.
