NHL ready

Question out all the habs prospects who do you guys think is most nhl ready for next year?

Since we have so many free agents, who should be resigned while who
should be let go, to give young guys a chance take their spot?

Personally I think that on defense Emelin(he is coming over next year) is most nhl ready, and he is better then bouillon, breezby, dandenault and shouldn't have a problem taking one of their spots.

Im not sure about the forwards though. Any thoughts.

I think PK still needs defensive polishing

Let see how Emelin do before we actually class them NHL ready...
afaik, Emelin s development hasnt exactly been on a high in the last 2 years or so...to the point where I m wondering if he s NHL ready, hopefully a poster that sees him play regularly will be able to give us his opinion on Emelin and Korneev

Only on world junior (was really good) and one world championship(ok)
Yet I read a lot about him on russian sites. My take on what they say is that he is like Komisarek, yet meaner.

I guess the bad thing about him is that he takes a lot of penalties.

I think Korneev is better then Emelin, b/c of his offense yet i don't no if he is gonna come over, I do believe that his contract expires this year though

It s very possible.
From what I heard, they re just very different Ds, Korneev recent play at the WC do place him higher on the chart for me to..
Imo the reason why talk about Emelin more is because of what happend when he signed his contract and that interview at radio Canada, he said he wanted to come over, so I think people believe miore that he ll come over more than Korneev, who exept for that McGuire comment.....we havent heard much of his desire to come over.

Hard to say who s the best, they re just very different Imo

Emelin would be a stay at home D, physical and nasty, a smaller meaner Komi would be really cool

Korneev would be the puck mover, a perfect pp solution with Markov imo.

Very different Ds but both could be very useful.
I also heard that Korneev and Emelins contract are over at the end of this season, we just have to pray they both come over I guess.

Me too and I think we should trade him right now because he has great value.

On D, OByrne will be back, wont have as much pressure as this year.. I could see Weber being ready too..

I would be the most surprised of the world if Emelin looks NHL ready assuming he comes over.. Will have the pass through the same process as Valentenko..

Sounds to me like Korneev could immediately fit into the lineup. I've heard contradictory reports about Emelin but he did play for team Russia at the World Championships so that's gotta say something. If you look at his stats he seems to have cut down on costly penalties as well.

Pacioretty?

Next year, I think we will see Weber make the jump.

If he came over, I think Korneev is a top six guy right now.
