It is about time we play Canadian teams twice, other than the Leafs and Sens.

I went to the last game in Van - it was good even though we fricken lost - there were tons of Hab fans everywhere.

I really wanted to go this year but I could not and still cant get tickets (you know, ones that arent 250 a pop)

With two games less against every division rival, that makes 8 more games against the west.

We already had 10 against 15 teams, now we have 18 against 15 teams.

Which means that some western teams will be played twice.

Wishing to be the second coming of the 80's Oilers is still much better than wanting to go through the Pittsburg recipe.... lose, lose, lose, pick high, lose, lose, lose, pick high, rinse and repeat... until you can win for a few years, and then start over...

42 years and counting, ahem....

I really doubt you heard that on a board so much as in your head.

42 years must be tough to deal with, not to mention that number will just be getting higher and higher. I don't remember seeing anyone say our team is the 2nd coming of the 80's oilers either so I don't know where you came up with that information.
