Roadrunners/Oilers Get Your Money

Unofficial Survey... Assuming for a second that the NHL DOES start as scheduled, will you support one team more then the other?

I won't cut down on Oilers games that I go to - that's for sure - but I certainly plan on going to as many RR games as possible too!

It's years like this year I hate the fact I live in Vancouver. Even if we are having a dreamy summer with lots of sun and little rain.

Pumped for the Runners

Where in the past I would attend 3 or 4 Oiler games I may now go to 15 or 16 Roadrunner games instead. I love the Roadrunners, last year I would catch some cybercasts and all the TV broadcasts. I'm primarily an Oiler organization fan, the Roadrunners fit me better as far as affordibility and my passion for following prospects. I'm pumped for the Roadrunners!

Well I'll probably see some of both...

just wondering if they planning any double header type games on weekends, where the RR would play in the afternoon and the Oilers at night?? If you have an Oiler ticket that night, say for an extra $5 you can goto the Runners game, could pull in some extra cash??

I cannot afford season tickets for both

unless they made a season ticket package for the Roadrunners REALLY attractive to Season ticket holders I will not buy Roadrunner tickets as well.

Though I am sure I would go to a few games a year.

I went to one Oilers game last year, and have been to maybe 6 in the last 3 years (starving student syndrome). Half of those tickets I got for free somehow.

I plan on getting a mini-pack for the Roadrunners. I don't think there will be NHL hockey until January at the earliest, the Runners are an affordable option and there are a lot of players I want to see develop: Woywitka, Lynch, Brodziak, Salmelainen, JDD. And the different rules will be a cool change.
